Locus 2011 Recommended Reading List
is up on the Locus website. The list is put together by a consensus of the magazine's editors and reviewers. There's a strong field and it includes a number of Australian authors, editors and publishers among them. Congratulations to all.
One of my Clarion South mates, Peter M. Ball, featured twice as did three of our tutors, Margo Lanagan, Kelly Link and Gardner Dozois, which was nice to see.
Congratulations also to my Clarion West 2008 buddy, An Owomoyela, whose story, "All That Touches the Air", (Lightspeed 4/11) made this list.
